Makoron (まころん) — Career & Achievements
Makoron is a renowned Japanese Scenery Illustrator and Animation Art Director. His official Instagram account currently has more than 160,000 followers, while his official X account has 200,000 followers, and his combined following across Pixiv and Instagram exceeds 300,000.
His work centers around breathtaking imagery such as deep blue skies, towering summer cumulonimbus clouds, and whales soaring through the sky, creating an extraordinary sense of transparency and an intensely healing atmosphere.
Makoron has an impressive career in the creative industry. He has received the International Art Grand Prize, designed the key visual for the dolphin show at Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, published his first personal art collection, ソラノキオク (Memories of the Sky), and currently serves as a part-time lecturer at Kyoto University of the Arts.
